Protects and defends all wild animal species,
conserves their habitats

"This glorious globe we call earth was created for all creatures to live on, freely," wildlife advocate Larry Allan philosophized, when asked about his years-long efforts to preserve wildlife throughout North America.

Recipient of the Ansel Adams Award, Allan is a superb animal photographer, writer, speaker and accomplished teacher. Dedicated to the protection and defense of all wild animal species, to the conservation of their natural habitats, and to the education of people about these imperative needs, Allan commented that he hopes viewers "will learn more about North American wildlife through one, or both, of my DVDs." "Please join with me in this vital and important work," Allan added, "to benefit all generations to come. Profits from sales do go directly to preserve wildlife," he emphasized.

What's your wildlife I.Q.?

  1. Owls have marvelous hearing. A great gray owl is able to hear mice moving under snow how deep?
    1. 6 inches
    2. 1 foot
    3. 2 inches

  2. River otters can swim 18 miles-per-hour. How much of their lives do these fantastic swimmers spend on land?
    1. 1/10
    2. 1/2
    3. 2/3

  3. Since sea otters do not have layers of fat ("blubber") to keep them warm in frigid waters, the density of their fur helps them survive. In fact, sea otters have one million hairs-per-square-inch. True or false?
